“Women Talking #Too”, an abstract figurative artwork by Lois Goodnough
Lois about “Women Talking #Too”: “The #metoo movement and recent political and judicial events inspired me for this work. Particularly the women who are not heard; hence the appearance of their words floating off into space. After an initial intuitive phase in creating my work, I use a negative painting technique to outline figures where they appear to me. Then I start adding details where the different colours collide within the image.”
A Production Company in Vancouver rented “Women Talking #Too” for use in their film shoot “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.”
