“Light in the Darkness”: versatile artworks by Bea Garding Schubert
Bea’s “Light in the darkness” consists of six versatile small artworks on high-quality canvas. Bea used acrylic, spray paint, paste, and pencils to create each artwork. All works are lightly varnished to protect from dust. They are meant to be hanged by the two (as sister-pieces), by four, or all six together. Each piece is signed, and the sides are painted dark blue, giving them a contemporary look and feel. Framing is not necessary.
Art with a message
“May it be a light in the dark places, when all other lights go out.” J.R.R. Tolkien
With a message of hope and confidence, Bea’s intention with these pieces is to send light in the darkness. Colourful and highly abstract paintings of a magic, urbanized world. After spending some time with the works, the viewer can discover houses with windows, symbolizing the inside and outside world.
