“Good Vibrations”, an abstract figurative artwork by Lois Goodnough
“Good Vibrations” is an abstract figurative work with a bit of African flair. For this mixed media artwork, Lois used oil and cold wax, on a cradled wood panel. Lois explains: “I enjoy working with oil and cold wax as it allows for layers of colour and embedded mark making. Colour layers can be exposed through scraping back of paint on the substrate surface.”
The title of this piece arose intuitively; inspired by the mark making on the painting.
