“Caught in Red” by Russian-Canadian artist, Elena Myasnikova
The color Red. It is more than just a hue and symbolizes many things; both painful and pleasurable. From the moment your eye catches Red, it evokes feelings. It can be so classy, yet can present itself quite vulgar. Red is the strongest and the boldest color of all; there is simply no match to it. The gold and black find their perfect place in these majestic surroundings.
Elena used multiple layering techniques in order to create deep hue and light effects. The artwork is heavy due to the finish of multiple layers of resin.
Gallery wrapped and wired on the back, this work does not require framing and is ready to hang.
