“Breaking In II” (2018) an abstract landscape by German artist, Gesa Reuter
Gesa on “Breaking In II”: “For me, this painting is about emotions, feelings, and constant change. Life can be stormy, it can be wild. Sometimes we may even feel that we drown. But life also provides us with great beauty.”
This work shows lots of texture due to the layering techniques Gesa used. Mixed media: acrylics and gouache. Gesa added silver pigments to create a sparkling effect when it is hit by light.
The sides are painted, thus it does not require framing. However, a silver wooden floating frame does add to the look and feel, so it is sold with frame.
Signed on the back and with a hook on the back of the frame, “Breaking In II” is ready to hang. Price includes frame.
