“Autumnal” (2018) by contemporary abstract artist, Christa Haack
“Autumnal” by contemporary abstract artist, Christa Haack, is a dual-color painting in which Christa only used green, white, brown, and yellow, contrasting in sequence.
The paint was moulded with palette knives in organic shapes and forms. Later in the process, Christa added more white paint in swirly motions to fill the piece with bold paint strokes and movement.
“Autumnal” is on a high-quality, professionally stretched and triple primed cotton canvas. In a white wooden floater frame, it is ready to hang. As with all of Christa’s work, high-quality materials were used, such as Lascaux products. A UV protective enamel was added for sunlight protection.
